A computerised dashboard for a homebrewed RPG system. Written in Java utilising the JavaFX library, this program was used as a fluency exercise for advanced TEFL English classes. A mix of the ‘Blades in the Dark’ and ‘Call of Cthulhu’ RPG systems, this dashboard was used in the classroom to efficiently handle all game mechanics and concisely display character statuses, allowing the students to focus completely on expression and correct English without worrying about game mechanics while enjoying the activity. System was validated by an unprecedented 100% student retention rate for the classes which used the game, and ~12% average increase on Oral English exam grades for participating students.
